The mission of Sarah Woodruff Admissions, powered by the incredible team at Scholar Co., is to help students uncover their individual strengths, build confidence, and embrace a growth mindset as they pursue their next academic adventure.

An educator with decades of experience, Sarah Woodruff leverages her expertise in writing and teaching as she supports students through the college admissions process. Sarah holds a degree in English with a specialization in Early Modern Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master’s in Secondary Education from Loyola Marymount University, where she is also a lifetime member of the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society. She holds a California Teaching Credential in ELA and a Montessori Secondary I-II certification, and has worked with students in a variety of different educational frameworks.

Having taught both AP and IB courses, Sarah has a broad yet intimate understanding of the high school curriculum and experience, which uniquely equips her to support students in navigating the challenges they face in moving through the admissions timeline. She has worked extensively with students on revising essays, preparing for interviews, and developing strong resumes and portfolios that show their best selves.

Sarah strongly believes that each student is unique and deserves a personalized approach. She offers a diverse and dynamic perspective informed by her experiences working with young people across STEM, writing, and the performing arts and serving in the roles of educator, mentor, and administrator.
